Reporting to the Assistant Manager of Procurement, this Temporary Purchasing position is responsible for supporting the day-to-day functions of the Purchasing Department.

The successful candidate will be computer proficient, have the demonstrated ability to learn purchasing, and work successfully in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process Direct Charge, Service and other requisitions into purchase orders.
  • Track and expedite orders into the mill.
  • Negotiate price, terms and conditions for orders
  • Data entry and running reports
  • Documentation Assistance

Education and Experience

  • Supply Chain Management,  College Education or University Degree
  • Interpersonal skills to work with all departments of the mill
  • Demonstrated Procurement Experience
  • Results-oriented with excellent organizational, planning and decision making skills
  • Demonstrated experience with an enterprise resources system (ERP)
