Cariboo Pulp & Paper


The Cariboo Pulp & Paper mill is located in Quesnel, Canada, in the Montane Forest region of British Columbia, approximately 650 km north of Vancouver. It was constructed in 1972, with some areas built out subsequently, such as the one stage oxygen delignification plant in 1991, before being purchased by Mercer in 2018. The mill is a 50/50 joint venture with West Fraser Mills Ltd.

CPP’s performance over the years has been very stable and improving.

Asia makes up the entirety of Cariboo Pulp & Paper’s sales, with the majority destined for the Japanese and Chinese markets.
