Position Description

Reporting to the Lead Technical Specialist, the IT Infrastructure Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining IT systems across multiple sites, including servers, network equipment, software, and hardware. This role is critical in ensuring the reliability and performance of our technology systems, supporting production efficiency and minimizing downtime. This position is based out of our Spokane Valley, Washington facility. 

Responsibilities

  • Monitor, configure, and maintain local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Manage, install, and upgrade servers (both physical and virtual), ensuring they operate efficiently and securely.
  • Continuously monitor system performance, security, and capacity, addressing any issues to ensure optimal performance.
  • Support the Lead Technical Specialist in Implementing and managing backup strategies to ensure data integrity and availability. Oversee disaster recovery planning and execution.
  • Enforce security protocols, including firewall management, antivirus updates, patch management, and user access control.
  • Provide technical support and assistance to users for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software systems.
  • Work alongside the Lead Technical Specialist and with vendors to evaluate, purchase, and maintain IT hardware, software, and services.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of IT infrastructure, configurations, procedures, and any changes made.
  • Ensure that IT systems comply with company policies, industry standards, and legal regulations. Prepare for and assist with IT audits.
  • Oversee the integration and management of cloud services, ensuring seamless interaction between on-premise and cloud-based resources.
  • Ensure timely deployment of software patches and updates to maintain security and system functionality.
  • Develop and implement scripts or tools to automate routine tasks and improve efficiency.
  • Respond to and resolve IT incidents and outages, coordinating with other teams as necessary.
  •  Work closely with other departments to understand their IT needs and provide solutions that support their objectives.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 5+ years information technology support role or equivalent experience, including administration of Active Directory, e-mail systems, servers, and workstations. Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • 3+ years advanced troubleshooting of network equipment, including Wireless APs, switches, routers, and firewalls. Understanding of VLANs, SDWAN, and subnetting.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences or other relevant field, a combination of education, certification, and work experience will be con
  • Experience with Google Workspaces is recommended, including user administration, Gmail, Google Drive, Google Cloud Sync, LDAP, and endpoint management.
  • Understanding of security concepts and global data compliance regulations (HIPAA, GDPR, SOX, etc.)
  • Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent teamwork skills with proven ability to collaborate across multiple cross functional teams and sites.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proven ability to adhere to and contribute to SOPs, training documentation, and other forms of official documentation.
  • Safety sensitive position requiring ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time and lift/carry up to 50lbs.
  • Ability to regularly travel between Washington and Arkansas factories is required with potential to travel outside the US. 

Salary & Benefits

  • The salary for this position is $68,000 – $89,000.  Salary will be commensurate with education and experience.
