We are seeking a full-time, permanent Lubrication Maintenance Technician within the Maintenance Department. The Lubrication Technicians maintain, repair and troubleshoot industrial machinery and mechanical equipment, specific to the lubrication of equipment, with the intention of continuously improving performance and reliability. Role and Responsibilities: Maintain levels and consistency of operating equipment lube, oil and grease to ensure proper function and longevity of equipment. Assist with the troubleshooting of general equipment problems, specifically with equipment reliability. Help identify critical equipment in all areas and assure lubrication, parts and procedures are accurate to address reliability issues. Help manage the lube shop’s lube, oil and grease inventory and ensure the shop is organized. Evaluate operating data to conduct adjustments to products, instruments, or equipment. Analyze and make recommendations based on equipment oil samples. Demonstrate positive safety behaviors in the Mission Zero (zero safety incidents). Additional duties as required. Qualifications and Experience Self motivated with willingness to learn High School diploma or equivalent. Lubrication Certification (considered an asset) Experience in the lubrication field and mechanical background. Experience with CMMS and an additional, relevant Journeyperson certificate would be considered an asset. Strong understanding of workplace safety, being a leader in safety awareness and positive mentor to peers. Strong interpersonal and team-building skills. Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of maintenance and reliability best practices. Team oriented individual with the ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
